INA President Jim Delgado met with T.I.N.A. board members at their board meeting in Istanbul in early July to discuss the ongoing partnership between INA and TINA and opportunities for future work in Turkey.  The evening was a tremendous opportunity to connect and share thoughts on future projects and reflect on the importance of the relationship between the two organizations.  TINA has conducted significant projects in Turkey, published a series of well-regarded books on Ottoman and Turkish naval history, and is a good friend of nautical archaeology, naval and maritime history, and of INA.
